There were 4 finals today, and Virginia won 2. They won the 200 free relay and placed 1,3, and 4 in the 200 IM. Virginia picked up points in the 50 Free by finishing 2 and 8, and we finished 10 in the 500 free.

Can anyone explain why the NCAA Tourney makes 4 #11 seeds play in the Tuesday and Wednesday play in games? Does not seem fair to me, or is it just a sop the #16s who are usually small conference teams? I don't get it. Seems like if you make an 11 seed you are pretty good and deserve better.

Pitt edges Miss State by one when State misses a 3 and a tip at the buzzer. gritty game for Pitt who lost their center for the game, hope he will be back soon. Other than Duke I hope the ACC does well.

Cavs hitters were led by O'Donnell who was 5 for 5 with 2 singles, 2 doubles, and a home run good for 4 RBI. Saucke was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI, and Godbout was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI. Virginia was aided by 10 walks to go with their 16 hits. Earley started and pitched 3 innings; he gave up 4 hits but no runs. He was followed on the mound by Blanco, McKay, Hungate, Hodges, Buchanan, and Jaxel.

If you watch the Players Championship on NBC today you'll probably see Denny McCarthy several times. He's currently in 11th. He's 7 shots back so probably no real shot at winning but the PGA pushed the purse up to $25M to compete against LIV. It's always been the largest purse on the Tour but it's even bigger now. The winner gets $4.5M. The top 41 players will make at least six figures. Not bad for 4 days of work! He had a rough day yesterday but hopefully he can work his way back up the leaderboard.
