Which is worse for the UVA football program -

dissatisfaction or apathy? My vote is for apathy. I passed dissatisfaction a couple years ago. Then it became apparent that the academic administration, major donors, and the athletic administration did not care and allowed the football program to continue its descent in spite of the fact that UVA has talent at most positions. To compound the problem, UVA fans have soccer to cheer for in the fall; we have men's basketball, swimming, and wrestling to get us excited in the winter, and we have lacrosse and national championship teams in baseball and tennis to get our juices flowing in the spring. In addition, we have a few other teams that are getting better each year. Maybe we can start selling No-Doz at the football concession stands.

Harbaugh

Coaching matters! These aren't even his kids yet and Michigan is playing way better then they did on their last coach simply by another coach coming and developing talent. Ohio State should look out in two years when Harbaugh has his own guys

Winston

Winston showing why I thought he should not have been selected #1 in the draft. He is showing the same lack of ability to read defenses that he did at Fl State often. I question if he will ever develop the judgment to be a star in this league. I predict consistent inconsistency on his part, and a mediocre to average carreer.

Turnover Margin

Still early in the season but UVA is up to its old tricks in the turnover department again currently ranking 125 out of 128 in turnover margin ahead of our awesome season in 2012 when we were 117 out of 128. Rankings are as follows:

2015-125th
2014-62nd
2013-89th
2012-117
2011-108

Truly impressive. You would imagine that the bounces would occasionally go your way. ML is an overachiever in his ability to coach his players to give up the ball but refuse to accept it.

CavsCorner Video: Eric Smith

After having an admittedly rough go of it in the spring, junior offensive tackle Eric Smith won back his starting job in fall camp and said this week that he still has high hopes for the Cavaliers coming out of the bye week.

In this video interview, Smith talks about UVa's mindset after the conclusion of its non-conference schedule, how a lot of players stayed in town during the weekend of their bye week, how his relationship with new OL coach Dave Borbely has grown, how he made a decision to better himself, how he took ownership of his mistakes in the Boise State loss, and what he saw watching Pitt this past weekend.
