This will take time, but today was watershed moment. It's not like we lost because of some fluke play. We got beat in every phase of the game. Their defense was better, their quarterback was better, play calling was better. I know we have a talent deficit but I was way more excited about the possibilities of the staff. It looks like they're going to have to grow as well. Bronco likes tough challenges. Welcome to the toughest challenge of your life.
Guys like Brown and Smoke just aren't getting it done compared to the rating and at some point we need to play for the future and if that requires playing younger guys this year, so be it. If we play like we played today and don't get better Bronco may not be around for a fifth year. Not saying stupidly take off shirts but if we start playing young guys consistently I will not have a problem.
This is 10 times tougher than what TB had to deal with. Virginia had the ability in basketball to be good with the right coach. In football it is going to take up a heck of a lot more than that.
How can we recruit? We must get players. Plenty of playing time here. Just have to stay positive week to week.
