I don't think I can ever remember a season with this many potential scenarios with two games left for everyone. It is possible (though unlikely) that every team could up with six losses, and that every team 1-9 would have either 6 or 7 losses -- talk about some tie-breakers.
The ACC is guaranteed that a six-loss team will get a double bye after Pitt's thumping of Duke today and Notre Dame tripping up last time out. Guaranteed. Obviously, as someone noted this weekend, getting a top three seed will be highly, highly beneficial.
Again it is unlikely (and most likely ends tomorrow night in Chapel Hill), that UVa has a chance at an outright title. If the Hoos do somehow catch every break to win it outright, I think I'm heading straight out to put some money on them cutting down the nets in Houston!
