While Worlds are a bit "watered down" this Olympic year since several top swimmers from the US and Australia chose not to attend in their own preparation for Olympic Trials, it's still proving to be a very fast and competitive meet with many top swimmers you'll see in Paris 2024.
UVA continues to rep on the world stage as Curzan has won 3 Gold medals (2 individual in 100 and 50 Back and 1 relay gold) along with 1 Silver in 100 Fly.
Douglass has won 2 Gold medals so far (200 IM Individual and 1 relay).
Douglass is a gold medal favorite in the 200 Breast and in medal contention for the 100 Free, though it's a tough double as both of those event finals swim almost back-to-back tomorrow night.
Jack Aikins won a Bronze medal as part of the US 4x100 Free relay as well.
The Walsh sisters chose not to attend this year as the US took a small women's team, but both of their Olympic prospects are bright as well.
