Here's what we know heading into Saturday's finales:

-UVa will be the #6 or #7 seed. If UVa beats Louisville or if VT loses to Clemson, the Hoos are the #6 seed. If UVa loses and VT wins, the Hokies are the #6 and UVa is the #7 seed. Both the #6 and #7 seed are on the bottom half of the bracket, meaning UVa will play night games in Brooklyn. The #7 seed tips off at 7pm on Wednesday night against the winner of the #10 vs #15 game, and the #6 seed tips off following that contest, around 9:30pm Wednesday, against the #11 vs #14 winner.

-Duke is the #1 seed, so they won't be on UVa's side of the bracket.
-ND, Miami & UNC have double byes.
-Wake is the #5 seed
-Syracuse and FSU will play in the #8 vs #9 game on Wednesday afternoon. The winner will play Duke.

Some Scenarios:
-Already discussed above, but UVa and VT will be the #6 or #7 seed in some order. No other possibilities for either of those teams.

-NC State and Georgia Tech will be the #14 and #15 seeds in some order. NC State holds the head to head tiebreaker, so if they end up with the same record (both are currently 4-15), then NC State will be the #14 and GT will be the #15. So one of those teams will be playing on Tuesday with a chance to play UVa on Wednesday.

-ND will clinch the #2 seed if they beat Pittsburgh on Saturday. If they lose, they open the door to drop down to the #3 seed...

-UNC can finish anywhere from #2 to #4 depending on Saturday's results. To get the #2 seed, they'll need to beat Duke on the road in addition to a Pitt win at ND, so not very likely. If UNC beats Duke on Saturday, they'll be the #3 seed, if ND wins vs Pitt. But...

-If Miami wins at Syracuse, and UNC loses to Duke, Miami jumps Miami to the #3 seed, and UNC finishes with the #4 seed. That sequence of events would line UVa up for a potential matchup with Miami, a team they swept, in the Quarterfinals if the Hoos can win their first game. If Miami loses at Syracuse, the Canes will be the #4 seed, meaning UVa will be need to go through either ND or UNC to reach the semifinals.

-Clemson, Pitt, BC and Louisville are all locked Tuesday games in Brooklyn, along with the aforementioned NC State and GT. Their seeding is TBD based on the outcomes of Saturday's games. Because there are so many different outcomes here, we'll just see how the games play out.
