I do. Not that it will bother me, or most of you, much in the long run, but if we are fortunate enough to reach the E8, how many times will we hear that we are lucky Mich St isn't there, we owe MTSU, would never get by if the road weren't paved, ect. You know it's coming, I have already heard the "Who benefited the most from this upset" discussions. MTSU benefited the most because it was an elimination game and they are still playing. But the only answer I have heard was how glad UVa must be to realize their nemesis would not be there to block them.
IMO, it's just like I have said since we were playing UNC in the ACC Championship, we control our destiny and that's all you can hope for. MSU controlled their destiny and lost. I ahte that I already know that their failure will, in the eyes of the media and therefore the "casual" fan, tarnish the success we may have. But as UVa fans, what we get, we deserve. What they didn't get, they didn't deserve. So, hell yea, I am glad they are gone, and the good outweighs the bad......
