After UVA fans were spoiled by the national championship last year, we have been brought down to earth so far by graduations and injuries. It is still too early to give up on this team, but we have not shown the depth of talent that we had last year. We will have three key losses after this year as Jones, Pinero, and Thaiss will undoubtedly be drafted, but we will have a lot of returning talent. In addition, the class coming in looks to be very talented. Nolan Jones (SS) has been named to the 2016 Rawlings first team. Max Kranick (RHP) is on the Rawlings second team, and Joey Wentz (LHP) and Noah Murdock (RHP) are on the third team.
