His 842 net rushing yards would have led UVa in rushing 12 of the past 17 seasons. (Take out his sack yardage, and he’s a 1,000-yard rusher — which would be one of only 15 such seasons in school history, joining guys like Kirby, Barber and Jones.)
His 2,478 passing yards currently stand 10th all-time for passing yards in a season.
His 31 rushing and passing TDs have broken the record of 30 set by Matt Schaub in 2002.
Wonderful season from a wonderful young man some thought would never play again.
I can’t wait to see what he brings in the bowl game and next year. Perhaps he can get some Heisman consideration in 2019.
