Weber sac fly in the 5th and two run doubles by Thaiss and Gerstenmaier in the 8th pace the offense. Haseley gave up 6 hits but no runs through 6 innings. Shambora pitched well in the 7th and 8th but gave up a lead off single and a walk to open the 9th. Bettinger came in and allowed 3 runners to score before getting the final out with two runners on base.
