Wake scored 60 on us in Charlottesville. 60 is pretty good defense...13 out of 15 teams in the ACC give up more than that per game. Would you believe, in 26 games so far this season, only 5 teams have done BETTER than that against us? In 20 out of 26 games, we have held the opponent to less than 58 points (Louisville's defensive average is 59).
I remember many on here (myself included) stressing about losing Akil, and how it would impact the defensive results. After watching this team gut out win after win, without Justin, I'm convinced this team will never have a "down" year shutting the opposition down as long as TB is the coach. Screw pretty...I'll take the wins.
