I saw an article that quoted the coach as saying that he only plays players that earn his trust. While not arguing with this point of view on its surface, he also went on to mention that typically in any year only 15 people on either side the ball see the field - if I read this correctly. Maybe this is very typical and I've never noticed it before, but does that seem odd to anybody or really thin? I can't imagine only 30 kids seeing significant playing time over the course of the year? Does that seem realistic anyone?
