The women’s soccer team is ranked 8th in country and seeded 4th in the ACC tourney . They host Duke today in the quarterfinals at 8PM. The game is on ACCN. If they win they play the #1 seed UNC on Thursday.
The field hockey team is ranked 5th in country and seeded 3rd and they host Louisville in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 6PM. The game will be broadcast on the ACCN.
Men’s soccer is ranked 18th in country and seeded 4th so they have a bye in the first round. They’ll host the winner of NC St – Pitt next Sunday. I assume the game will be on the ACCN.
Panorama Farms hosted the ACC cross country championships the other day. (They’ll host the NCAA championships next year which is cool.) Men’s cross country finished 6th and the women finished third - though it was a distant 3rd – as NC State continues to dominate women’s cross country, winning their 7th consecutive ACC title. Regionals and Nationals remain though UVA won’t be competitive at that level.
The volleyball season still has a few weeks left and, while UVA improved this season they are still near the bottom of the table. They are .500 (overall) on the year and did beat VT the other day so the Hokies are in last place (and UVA got Commonwealth Cup point).
