I listened to the game on radio and, after the game, Thompson was asked what he thought when he saw the shot go in. He giggled and said "I was just trying to draw a foul. I never saw the shot go in and didn't know it went in until I saw the guys rushing toward me." On another note, the announcers said that Nolte's basket was his first since Dec. 5th. Wow!
