I have been extremely impressed with Gardners defense, especially when we decide to double the center. He's very quick to close in on the double team with excellent position. He then separates quickly when the post player picks up his dribble and sprints to his original front court player without over running. By that I mean he still maintains excellent position between himself and the basket preventing an easy blow by. His feet are very quick for a big guy.
