Sloan was never able to crack the UVA lineup as a pitcher in spite of our limited depth. I met some fans from Indiana who knew him and had nice things to say about his family. I am sorry when anyone transfers out, but if he could not get to the mound this spring, he was going to have an uphill climb next year.
Grant Sloan is transferring to Indiana.
