Noah Murdock (Jr) was name 3A all-state as a pitcher. Connor Eason (Sr) was name 5A South all-region as a pitcher and was named POY. Chesdin Harrington (Sr) was named 5A North all-region as a pitcher. Evan Sperling (Sr) was named 4A South all-region at 1B and second team as pitcher. Considering the number of UVA commitments from Virginia private schools and from other states and the fact that all teams have not been named, this was a good haul.
One player that I feel UVA may have missed on is Logan Harvey, a catcher from Douglas Freeman, who was selected for the 5A South all-region team. Harvey had a better than 4.0 GPA and committed to Wake Forest.
