hoodaves why did you lock the Dawn Staley Thread?

I considered sending you a private e-mail but I think it would be better if the conversation was transparent as it concerns the other board members having access to the chat.

I take issue with the thread being locked. The discussion was a positive one and is about UVA:

1. Dawn Staley is a UVA Alum
2. Dawn Staley is a current basketball coach
3. This was a topic about a sports issue
4. How Coaches, Conferences & AD's are acting
5. This has wide spread NCAA ramifications
6. It's an important topic & issue in society

Lastly this site has a paywall and it costs a monthly membership to access, be a part of these types of discussions and this is why I'm and others are here. To discuss sports related issues the good the bad and the ugly. Regardless if they are emotional topics or not.

I understand you are a moderator but that different than being a sensor and that's what it feels like when close a discussion to the board that is yielding great conversation about sports and opinions about problems and solutions to societal issues.

Please don't take this as a shot across the bow at you. But your the moderator and you felt the need to shut the discussion down. I'm asking you open it back up as long as everyone is civil and allow us to continue with the conversation?

Interested to hear yours and anyone else's (Respectful Thoughts) on this issue?
