It was some Div I guys interviewing the chairman of the NCAAT selection committee. It's about a half hour long but was really informative on how the committee thinks about RPI rankings, about team placement regionally/geographically, and a bunch of other stuff.
Virginia is mentioned somewhere around the 18 minute time line in the discussion and the chairman says that they've already had a discussion amongst the committee about how Virginia not getting to play FSU in Tallahassee should be taken strongly into consideration if any concerns about our RPI arise.
He said that our RPI would be at least 10 spots higher by playing the series and winning a single game.
He also said that he doesn't believe in RPI should be a primary determining factor when selecting teams.
Sounds promising if we can win in the ACC tourney.
