I am 35, so naming 5 I saw on TV or live unfortunately are there-
1- 2016 vs Cuse Basketball-this is going to take a while to get over the fact that we had a chance to get to the final four right in our hands and let it slip away and may linger into the start of next season.
2- 1990 vs GT Football- I was in the stands that day and the air in that stadium was sucked out by Georgia Tech slowly crawling back into the game. I know we lost a few after that but maybe those losses on top of the Moore injury may not have happened had we not given this game away.
3- 1991 vs UT Sugar Bowl Football - Same year as the Georgia Tech loss playing with a backup quarterback against a team that had a lot of talent and we were firmly in control until the second half. What a way to end a fabulous year by throwing another game away against a big-time opponent at the time.
4- 1995 vs Michigan Football- Talk about a great season that ended with a tough loss as well. This I say was our best football team in the last 20 years and even though that night vs Florida State erases a lot of the bad, I will forever remember Mercury Haynes and the SI cover the following week.
5- 1994 vs NC State Football- Even with the Duke loss we had a chance to go to a big bowl and once again under the George Welsh era we would choke a game we shouldn't have.
Common theme- I was at all of these games.
I left out ACC tourney vs Miami
Chamande and NC St 83. Too young to remember those, but I'm sure some on the board remember those fondly.
