One thing that has always perplexed me about Bennett is why he rarely has the team try for a two for one situation in the final minute of the first half. The last couple of games for example we get the ball with say around 50 seconds left in the half and instead of getting a shot off within 10 seconds to get the ball back a second time we run the clock down so the opponent gets the ball with less than 30 seconds left and can run the clock out. I am not advocating throwing up a prayer just to get one more possession, but they don't even seem to try and look for a shot in that situation until under 30 seconds and often end up with a rushed shot as the shot clock winds down instead of going quickly to get an early good shot and then guarantee another possession with some time left to get another good shot off. Does anyone have an ideas why he doesn't try to get those two possessions and settles for one almost every time?
