While we were sweating it out last night, Nate's algorithms were still pretty confident of a UVA win throughout. You can see here that the closest it came according to the data was in the early 2nd half when our run was met and exceeded by Chrabascz. Once Malcolm shut him down, it was over (I wonder if they have a variable for who Malcolm's guarding...they should).
Contrast this with the probabilities of Notre Dame's game with SFA even though the scoring was similar (neither getting an appreciable lead) to our game. I love how the odds of SFA winning it swelled at the end until the final tip-in.
