Virginia scored in the 1st on O'Donnell's single and a triple by Gelof. The Pack had two solo home runs in the second to take a 2-1 lead. There was no more scoring until the 9th. O'Ferrall led of with a double and scored on a home run by Gelof. Teel followed with another home run to give the Cavs a 4-2 lead. After 2 were out in the bottom of the 9th, NCSU scored 3 runs for the win. The top four in or batting lineup were responsible for all 6 of our hits and all of the runs.
