I think it's really important that we hire someone who is committed to Uva long term.. who is committed to building something that lasts, much like Tony hoped and is doing with hoops. The thing that worries me with a guy like say MSU's Mullens, is that he has his eyes on even bigger jobs down the road if he turns a program like Uva around. Even someone like Matt Rhule (Penn State Alum) or Jeff Brohm (Louisville Alum) could bolt if they were offered a job at their alumni after having success at Uva. Think about how it will affect UNC if Fedora leaves... even though it may be their own doing because of NCAA sanctions. Obviously I think this is something that Uva will think about when hiring the guy... but I think it needs to be a point of emphasis. Is our next guy committed to Uva for the long haul or is he using Uva as a potential stepping stone? We need to make sure we know.
