The Hoos are favored by 3 on their home floor, with a 54.6 percent chance of victory according to ESPN's matchup predictor and a 53 percent chance according to KenPom, who projects a 64-63 win. Ferber also picked the home team in his game preview.

The winner gets No. 2 seed North Texas in the second round, after the Mean Green held on to beat Texas State 67-63 in OT last night in Denton.
