At most high schools the best players are usually pitchers and/or shortstops. This year UVA will be adding 6 pitchers and 2 shortstops. In 2016 we will also bring in 6 pitchers and 2 shortstops. Even though the recruiting for 2017 is still developing, we already have commitments from 4 pitchers and 2 shortstops.
