For those interested in the midst of the basketball recruiting activity and conference realignment talk, I'll try to post meaningful updates here on UVA swimmers.
It's a weird Olympics, but doesn't take away from the amazing achievement. I worked at the Salt Lake Olympics a while back and may be more biased than most, but will try to keep it concise and relevant
To start, Emma Weyant has qualified 1st going into the 400 IM Finals, leading world record holder Katinka Hosszu, who hasn't lost a 400 IM since 2012 in a World Championships or Olympics.

By the way, the Men's team just got a fantastic transfer in Matt King from Alabama, who instantly vaults them into top 4-5 NCAA range.
