After reading thousands of pages of textbooks, after countless searches of “scholarly articles” on some sort of business – management – or leadership topic, after well over 92 discussion board posts and replies, after endless hours of sitting in my recliner with a laptop on my lap (switching from school work to Cavscorner), after unending Sunday evening weekly online tests, after 17 significant research papers (8 of which are published), after a number of annotated bibliographies, after the never-ending stress of meeting the stringent and demanding deadlines, I have received my final grade (A) on my final class to finish a Master of Arts degree in Management and Executive Leadership from Liberty University with a cumulative GPA of 3.85. Most that know me, know that I am not a 4.0 sort of guy.

This would not be possible without the support and encouragement of my family, especially my wife Kathy (thank you). She completed her Masters four years ago and we switched roles. The sacrifice that they have made was significant, but my hope is that this endeavor has set the example for my boys to understand that it takes hard work to succeed. My success will not be measured by a piece of paper to hang on a wall, but in the application that I can use this education and training for the greater good.

I had to share this with you guys. I know this is not a MBA from Darden... but this was the best fit for my life at this time. I definitely took the scenic route.
