Please thank a police officer when you see them. It is a scary world today. My father is a 38 year veteran of the police department. Thankfully despite being in 3 live shooter situations he has not been injured. Unfortunately my grandfather was gunned down in the line of duty while stopping a robbery 55 years ago today.
