Thinking ahead but......
The feature today with Benkert had me thinking about our new offense. ECU beat tech two years in a row.
IMO
They like the 8 and sometimes 9 in the box. That will stop s lot of runs (especially with a pro set) and hurry the QB. The spread wit 3 an 4 wides in shotgun and up tempo will be tough to defense with that many close to the line. With quick throws, QB runs and the RB It should be easier to move the ball. When you have 5-6 offensive athletes spread out it will be tougher for them to stop. They also do not have the talent at DB they had in the past. A big athletic QB makes it even more challenging.
Cannot wait to see this offense in action. We have suffered running the wrong offense and poor play calling for a long time.
