I, like every person subscribing to CavsCorner, am very proud to see QB get the kind of pub he's getting now (he's always been recognized nationally, but amongst newcomers mostly). With optimism among Wahoos everywhere at a high not seen perhaps in my lifetime (I'm 36; excluding Welsh era), if BM can get us a Division Title by next year and then sustain above avg. performance on par with say a recent duke or even more recent Louisville, then Quin could become the centerpiece of this transition in a similar way as Vick did for VT (his impact still reigns going on 20 years now).
Now I know MV played "Thor-terback and Quin plays safety. Vick also went to a national championship. The black sun visor and coining the number 7 didn't hurt either. He also had a stellar NFL career before getting caught on the dog charge. I know it hurts a little to remember that for many, including myself (I mean the going to Tech part). But Quin could do the same when he gets drafted in the 1st round and balls out in the league for the next 13-14 years and Uva is reinstated as the dominant program in Virginia.
