1). Malcolm Brogdon- he has been a shut down defender the past two seasons and our leading scorer. When the game is on the line, of all the players on this list, you want the ball in Malcolm's hands. He is cutthroat and icy cold.
2). Mike Scott- probably would have had two dominant seasons if not for getting hurt and taking the redshirt before his final year. He was starting to blossom and the performance against Minnesota was vintage Scott senior year stuff. Probably should have won ACCPOTY but you know Carolina bias and we hadn't quite arrived yet.
3). Justin Anderson- this may raise an eyebrow but he gets the nod over my number 4 just because of his sheer will and ability to take over games in a multi faceted way. This is what separates the great ones from the good players. He saved our butts in as many games as anyone not named Brogdon.
4). Joe Harris- Joe was a corner turning recruit and it almost feels amiss to mention him in that way without naming Akil Mitchell. Joe was a tireless worker and a great representative of the program. The only reason he is not higher is his performance at crunchtime lags behind the first three. He did provide us with an all time great memory as he pulled up and drained the three pointer to break Duke's back in the ACCt championship game. Thank you, Mr. Harris!
5). London Perrantes- I sat courtside three years ago and watched this kid run the offense against VCU at the JPJ. I posted that night that this kid was going to be a star. It was evident from the jump that he was going to steward this offense for 4 years. And while others get All ACC accolades and get to thank family, God, coaches, and teammates, every single player honored by the ACC in one fashion or the other should personally walk up to London and thank him, thank him for being so selfless and for being the straw that stirs the drink.
