I know it's getting annoying to watch us go on the road and lose games to teams that are obviously less talented than us, but my God when we play a team that we know is equally as talented or maybe even a little better this team rises to the occasion with some swagger that we don't see against those lesser opponents.
My team had a shootaround so I only caught the second half, but we played with a lot of poise on both ends of the floor. It got to the point where our drive and kick or dishes were almost Globe Trotter level. Either Louisville just stopped playing defense or we just dished and dimed them so bad they had no answer.
But the thing I loved the most in the 20 minutes I watched was how many blue jerseys were under that basket on the drive. Again Louisville shooting a three ball versus Tech was an anomaly, because UVA basically just said hey we're going to have guys at the rim so you're going to have to shoot the three point shot to win.
The more I see LP, the more I know this guy's going to have a moment in the tournament that saves our butt and why potentially next year's team ends up better than this one because there's going to be no question who the ace in the hole is with AN doing work in the post. I can rest easy at night after one like this. Kudos to the whole team and MS for returning from Milk Carton status.
