This is normally the time of the year when there is much information on football recruiting. The fact that there has been no War Room for two weeks is symptomatic of the state of our football recruiting. I fear that those recruits who have UVA on their long list are waiting to see how we do on the field in September. In the meantime, they may just commit to some other college. If we do well, we could receive commitments from a few more 3* players. If not, our staff will likely be scrambling in December and January to add a few warm bodies. This is just one of the reasons that I am not hopeful for the state of our football program in the near future.
