Replacing Malcolm will be a "by committee" approach...

When I look at what we lose, versus what's returning & the new incoming talent, I really do think we'll be OK.

Nichols will replace Gill's production. I love AG, and he was great, but Nichols is as good better or even a little better.

I'm expecting Hunter to at least match Nolte's production...probably will do better, but he's a FR and still a bit unknown at this point.

While it'll be tough for a RS FR to replace "good Mike" (i.e., senior night against Louisville), I think Diakite and an improved Reuter can give us Tobey's production on a per game basis.

So that obviously leaves Malcolm. No one guy is going to replace one of the greatest Hoos of all time, but if other guys step up their games a bit with a group effort, it's not impossible. As CTB as mentioned, this is LP's team now. He got 11 per game this year, and I expect that'll go up to 14+ next year. The sophomore class...Hall, Wilkins, Shayok, & Thompson all averaged around 4.0-4.5 per game. If those guys can increase that to around 7.5-8.0 per game, then anything Guy or Jerome gives us is just a bonus.

I really don't think we need anyone to have a monster breakout...just a modest improvement over last year, and we could be better than this year in 2016-17.
