O'Ferrall was 2 for 5 and scored twice; O'Donnell was 2 for 2 and scored 3 runs; Gelof was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 3 runs; Teel was 4 for 5 with 4 runs and 2 RBI; and Saucke was 2 for 5 with 2 runs and 4 RBI. Virginia was aided by 8 walks and 5 Rhode Island errors. O'Connor was the starting pitcher and went 4.2 innings and gave up 4 runs on 6 hits. He was relieved by Tonas who gave up the last 2 runs on 4 hits. Hodorovich, Berry, and Woolfolk shut down the Rams inthe final 3 innings.
