Overall, it looks good so far. Losing Paige Madden (Olympic silver medalist and 3x national champion last year) hurts, but the additions of Emma Weyant (Olympic silver medalist) and Gretchen Walsh (already swum 3 of the top times in 3 events in the nation this year) should help offset that.

Crazily, Weyant, who won the silver medal in the 400 IM in Tokyo, finished 3rd in that event at the Tennessee Invite this past weekend - behind two other UVA swimmers (Alex Walsh and Ella Nelson). That alone is a pretty good microcosm of how talented and versatile this team is.
