Statistically the game was very even except for one very important factor - shot efficiency. Virginia had 8 more shots from the field than Tech (61 - 53) but made 2 less (25 to 27). UVA made 41%, and the Hokies made 51%. Those who are more attuned than I am will have to determine if this was because VT played better defense and offense or if we were just not as sharp as usual.
