Watched the Washington Football team and man they have an ENTIRE Secondary that needs to be released after three games that show they are imposters in uniform!
I knew Fuller was no good when they brought him back. He basically hid out at KC in a good secondary and covered up his flaws. But the rest of the starting secondary in Curl, St Juste, Jackson and the rest of the secondary, along with Holcomb and Bostic at LB are bust!
These guys are just running around in space and watched Holcomb get punked and abused twice on TD runs. The guy was bragged on by Jay Gruden as fast, but he has a low Field IQ in staying with his man or poor run stop angles and gets juked out of his shorts for easy run by TDs. He has a weight room looking physic, but is extremely weak when coming up tackling and constantly is pushed backwards by smaller guys. Both Holcomb and Bostic are a GIANT fail on pass coverage.
Not letting the offensive side off. Weak O line and Norv Turner's boy, and I mean Boy as O coordinator is a nepotism job hire at best! He has no real insight how weak his O line is and tries to run Heinike up the middle and he is not only stopped but body slammed backwards cause the line is bad! Why not spread the field and let Heinike use his feet to find an open spot to get the one yard. DUMB!
Also Heinicke seems to go to Humphries too much on 3rd and long and the guy is way too small, plays small and allows defenders to come up and either step around and pick the QB or bat the ball down or away.
Don't think Fitzpatrick could do better than Heinicke because Fitzpatrick would be getting killed standing in the pocket that collapses ever other play. At Least Heinicke can move around. He just needs to run instead of forcing passes when he has the chance to run. On the long pass to Logan Thomas that he stepped across the line of scrimmage he clearly had an open field to EASILY run for first down.
The Secondary has to be dumped, Period! Not one decent second stringer out of the starters. River Boat Ron needs to get to work and start doing his job, even if it means cutting players to get their attention.
Another team that regressed and it's not even close at all!
