I was thinking first and foremost the kid probably was 10 years ahead of his time because honestly he could be the starting quarterback for this team right now. So was his recruitment totally based off the fact that he was going to be a defensive back all along? I still think if we had a competent offensive mind at the time we could’ve made that situation work with him. Imagine if he was a four-star recruit right now, do you think we would have the imagination on offense in today’s game to just say you know what, we’re going to put the kid at quarterback to make plays. He’s a fascinating player because a lot of times the right or wrong position switch can ruin a kid. Just imagine if Heath Miller would’ve stuck at quarterback. The day we caught Tech off guard with him at quarterback was so awesome to watch because I felt like oh we got Bud and then of course we lost the game but still it was the most fun on offense that we have seen in that rivalry the last decade.
