So I did some number crunching after this game and saw All the starting guards 3pt numbers for the season up until now and the M&M&M trio who are getting limited minutes if any in some games and here is the straight raw numbers in number of 3s and 3 point percentage for the season to this point:

Starters:

1. Clark has made 18 three pointers out of 44 threes taken for 47.4%

2. Franklin has made 12 three pointers out of 57 threes taken for 21.1% had missed the last 20 three point shoots until the one today. Had last 4 games; 0-6, 0-6, 0-4, 0-2 from three point line.

3. Beekman has made 03, three pointers out of 19 threes taken for 15.8%. Beekman has had 4 games this season where he had zero 3 pt shots.

Bench guys that have played either limited minutes, trips up and down the court or just clean up garbage last few minutes:

1. Milicic has made 08 three pointers out of 19 threes taken for 42.1%. We are talking a 6'10" guy with limited minutes.

2. Murray has made 07 three pointers out of 14 threes taken for 50%. This guy has been tasked with being a blocker in the majority of the games and also getting garbage minutes in most games.

3. McCorkle has made 5 three pointers out of 15 threes taken for 33.3%. Another guy getting limited or clean up/garbage time.

Ranking the top 3 point shooters by percentage out of the six:

1. Murray -50%
2. Milicic- 42.1%
3. Clark - 40.9%
4. McCorkle - 33.3%
5. Franklin - 21.1%
6. Beekman 15.8%

Milicic, Murray, McCorkle have had atleast one game coming off the bench where they had 3, 3 pointers which is the same number of 3s that Beekman has for the ENTIRE season as a starter. I thought the preseason hype was this guy was going to be a scoring machine and defensive nominee for the ACC?

Also, I don't buy that Milicic and Murray especially are not ready due to lacking defense Tony B. is looking at. Total BS, when you see Milicic sticking on his man with bent legs like Diakite used to be like and attacking the rim for blocks unlike several starters standing and watching guys drive to the basket for uncontested layups like Stattmann and the starting guards.

Lastly, you look how Murray physically bodies up on his man; pound for pound he's always guarding a guy bigger and he sticks on them like glue and alters passes for turnovers. He's not slacking like Beekman, Clark or Franklin that give up once a guy has a step, or their guy is 8ft away getting to release a 3 shot and become spectators to a wide open three or get one of their own team mates in trouble fouling trying to stop the easy layup/blow by. Watched Franklin get burned twice in the first half, clark two or three defensive let ups, and beckman had his man get around the screen and he gave up pursuing him to the board for a layup.

Update: Thanks to Gnawed, He caught an error/oversight where I copied Clarks number off ESPN page by mistake. With that Clark now drops down to 3rd.
