Sooner or later the home game win streak will end. A twenty-one game win streak of any kind is extremely difficult. Players and coaches are usually happy to win eight games out of ten. The casual fan does not appreciate how difficult that a long win streak is because there are so many factors which are difficult or impossible to control. There is a possibility that a good opposing pitcher will have a phenomenal game. How many times have we witnessed a second string quarterback come into a game and look like an All-American?
