It came up in a couple other threads, but just a word or two about Tony's salary.

Tony makes a hair under 2 million a year. You'll recall when he got an increase, he was more interested about taking care of his assistants than getting a huge bump himself.

Tony is the 25th highest paid coach in college basketball. But you don't see three million til the top ten coaches. And only the top five get over four.

Bronco's base pay is 3.5 million. London was a hair under 3.2. (Mike was 29th highest paid football coach.) If Tony didn't balk at CML, he's not balking at an extra 300k plus bonus for Bronco. Football is where the big money is and Tony and his agent know that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Tony get a bump to 2.6 or so in a couple years, putting him in the top 15, but he's not being treated unfairly right now and the Bronco contract isn't going to be a big eye opener for him.

If he or his agent want a bump they'll float it and we'll probably pony up, but it shouldn't be an issue right now and he's not going to get football money.
