Jennifer Wineholt, a soccer and volleyball star in California, has committed to UVA. She led her high school volleyball team to three straight state championships, and she was named the California Division V POY as a junior. She and a friend were denied admittance to a Frozen Ice Show when they came to the show in Frozen costumes. They were initially denied admittance because adults could not be admitted in costumes. When they showed identification indicating that they were both 17, they were told that they were too tall. I know it is difficult to believe that this could happen in California.
