I know LP was not playing and on short notice it's hard to adjust a game plan on something like this because it wasn't something we really expected to happen, but if we notice a trend this season teams are really packing it in, taking away our drive, forcing us to shoot 3's.
Luckily we were able to get enough against Ohio State where it didn't come back to haunt us, but I sat third row behind the bench and Jason W. was consistently on the guards about how our offensive flow was very stagnant. And I think this has a lot to do with London not playing, but we really need to push transition in games. Justin Anderson was key last year not only from 3, but getting us easy baskets. We all know what can happen when we're stuck in the half court and not knocking down shots. I really think this was more to do with LP being out. Our pace of play after GW is where it needs to be so we aren't that team relying on the jumper.
Teams with long posts who are quick can take away Gill on offense and put Tobey and Salt on the bench on defense because of their foot speed.
Getting those easy points will help this team who is giving up more easy baskets as well early on due to DA being gone.
