Rosenberger pitched 2.1 innings and gave up 3 runs. Sousa pitched 2 innings and gave up 1 hit and 1 run. Bettinger pitched the 9th and gave up 0 hits and 0 runs. The Hoos were led on offense again by Thaiss who was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Pinero was 3 for 4 and scored 2 runs, and Haseley was 2 for 4 with a home run. UVA was down 6-2 in the 5th but scored 3 in the 5th, 2 in the 7th, and 3 in the 8th.
