Max Kranick is a 6'3", 190# RHP and SS. I suspect that Kuhn is looking forward to getting him on the grounds. He threw in the low 90s as a junior and considers the slider to be his out pitch. He was named the Athlete of the Week earlier this year after going 4 for 5 in one game and then pitching a one-hitter and scoring the only run in the second game. In an Area Code game this summer he struck out all six batters that he faced. He is also a very good student with an excellent GPA.
Nolan Jones is 6'5", 195# infielder and RHP. He played SS in high school and 3B in the summer. He is very good with the bat and throws in the low 90s. He will play for the East team in the All-American Classic on August 16 in San Diego. In his spare time, he raises money for Pediatric Cancer.
