Greetings from Charlottesville, where No. 8 UVa hosts No. 12 Villanova in about an hour and 45 minutes. I'll be back with some notes once the teams get out and start getting warmed up.
I wanted to pass along that while the thought is that Marial Shayok had time for the hand/wrist to heal, he took a bump to the head and sat out a couple of practices. Not entirely sure what we'll see from him today or if he'll be impacted at all but that's something to watch. Also, sources told me late in the week that Malcolm Brogdon sat out a couple of practices following the broken nose but he should be good to go today.
