The softball team had two shutout victories, 1-0 over Iowa State and 5-0 over Delaware. The women's basketball team upset Louisville 73 - 68 on the road. Louisville women also lost the tennis match 6 - 1. Lastly, both lacrosse teams won; the women defeated Cornell 20 - 11, and the men won over Ohio State 14 - 8.
Every starter for Virginia except Ford had at least one hit, and O'Ferrall, Stephon, and Didawick had two hits each. Saucke, Hanson, and Whalen each had a double and a RBi. Coady started and pitched 3.2 innings and gave up four hits and two runs, only one of which was earned. Jaxel followed on the mound and pitched 2.2 innings and allowed one hit and one run; he was the winning pitcher. Tonas followed for 1.2 innings and gave up one hit and one run. Teel pitched the shutout 9th and allowed one hit. He was credited with his third save this season.
