Virginia bunches all 7 hits in 2 innings to a post 6-3 win and sweeps Miami

O'Connor started for Virginia and gave up all three runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings and earned the win. Blanco, Jaxel, and Berry combined to shut down Miami in the final 2.2 innings. Virginia scored 4 runs in the 4th inning to take the lead. After O'Donnell singled, Gelof hit a home run. Teel then walked, Anderson singled; Teel came home on a fielder's choice by Stephan, and the fourth run of the inning came home on Godbout's single. O'Ferrall singled to lead off in the 5th and came home on Gelof's second home run of the game and the lead was extended to 6-2. Miami scored another run in the 7th to make the final score 6-3. Virginia extended the home win streak to 21 games.
